What is Keys to Lexington?
Keys to Lexington is an 8-week citywide treasure hunt where players visit local businesses, follow clues, check in, and collect 16 digital keys to unlock the final prize box.
How do I play?
Sign up, then each week new clues will lead you to two businesses. Check in with GPS and scan the QR code to collect your key. Complete both keys to unlock that week’s secret reward!
Do I need to make a purchase to play?
No purchase is necessary to collect keys or complete the hunt. However, we encourage you to support our amazing local businesses while you’re there!
How do I collect a key?
Arrive at the location, check in with GPS, and scan the QR code inside the business. You’ll instantly collect your key in the app.
What are weekly secrets?
When you collect both keys released that week, you’ll unlock a secret phrase or code. Show it to the weekly sponsor to claim a special reward or offer.
How do I qualify for the final prize?
Collect all 16 keys during the 8-week hunt to unlock the final prize trail and earn your chance to open the final prize box.
Can I play with friends or as a team?
Yes! You can play as a team or individually. Everyone’s progress counts toward collecting keys.
Is there a fee to play?
Yes, there is a one-time registration fee to participate. Check the app or website for current pricing.
